We have renewed the label for our signature pale ale, A Greener World. For a while, we were selling both the old and new designs, but I believe most of the stock at liquor stores and other retailers has now been replaced.

When it comes to American hops, Yakima, Washington, is usually the first place that comes to mind. However, Oregon, home to Portland, the mecca of craft beer, also cultivates unique hops. McKenzie, used in LWLND, is one such hop. It has been gaining popularity since its introduction to the market in 2021.

We often use concentrated hop products like Cryo Hop pellets and Incognito extracts. There are a few reasons why.

Our signature ale, A Greener World, has been a regular brew since we first shipped it in June 2023. While we have slightly adjusted the hop composition to find the ideal balance, this time we have reviewed the malt, and we'd like to share details on that.

While our West Coast Lager has previously featured Citra, we recently acquired a very high-quality lot of 2024 Simcoe. We wanted to incorporate this hop into a new flagship lager, so we used it in the whirlpool and for two dry-hopping additions.

This is our first time brewing a beer with fruit puree. We added blood orange puree to an IPA, selecting Centennial and Idaho-7 hops. Using Hop Hash provides a solid bitterness and powerful kick. We generously used our house malt, Rahr 2-row, so that the distinct characteristics of the malt, hops, and blood orange complement each other. The result is a beer with a richer body than our usual offerings.

In Kutchan-cho's Hirafu, known as a world-class snow resort, NISEKO HIRAFU GREEN PARK is currently underway. Enjoy daily events, a skate park, food trucks, a marché, and bars. Yotei Brewing is sponsoring this event and offering its signature pale ale, A Greener World, with a specially designed label.

This crisp IPA, inspired by Lallemand's newly proposed "Northern IPA" style, was brewed with low-temperature fermentation and CLS-X14 hops. Its refreshing aroma reminiscent of lemongrass and jasmine, combined with a dry and firm bitterness, evokes Hokkaido's short, dry summer.
